Before

The process often starts with a high res image of a car that I take at an event or location. Once back at my studio the painstaking process begins.

Drawing the basics

Each individual panel on the car is drawn out to achieve the overall shape of the car as a basis for the art. At this stage the rendering looks very flat and lifeless.

Adding the details

Once the car shape has been fully ‘drawn’ the details of the car including the interior, lights, mirrors are added as well as the highlights and shadows that actually bring the drawing to life. The whole process usually takes between 20 and 40 hours of work to achieve the final render.

Creative amendments

Once the main render is all done then backgrounds can be changed as well as the body colour of the car itself.
