Studio Shoots
Our studio based photography services can range from full blown studio shoots to simply setting up a backdrop at a location, photographing the car and then using retouching techniques to get a ‘studio style’ image.
White background studio shoots
These shots would be done in a large white coved studio, so studio hire would need to be included in the costings.
To achieve these images the studio needs to have ‘drive in’ access and be large enough to fit the car in easily and still have room to move around the car safely.
Black background location shoots
These shoots can be done at almost any indoor location providing there is enough space to hang the backdrop and move around the car safely. Then we proceed to photograph the car using various lighting positions – sometimes more than 20 images are required to achieve the final shot.
The final image is then created in retouching, normally by using up to 20 or more images to create the desired effect.
White background location shoots
In a perfect world these shots would be done in a large white coved studio, but if this isn’t possible for some reason, then the shoot could be can be done at an indoor location providing there is enough space to hang the backdrops and move around the car safely.
Usually there is a large amount of retouching that needs to be done to achieve the final shot, especially if the car itself is white too as in this image.
